HOW TO PLAY: QUESTS OF MYTHREN (BETA EDITION)

STEP 1: GETTING STARTEDJoin the Beta GroupMake sure you’ve joined the official Beta Testers Discord group.

This gives you access to:
Bug reports
Suggestions
Updates and announcements

STEP 2: CHECK YOUR INVENTORY

NOTE: You start at Level 0.

Loot Boxes will not begin to drop until you reach Level 1.

Look for your QoM – Beta Kit (sent in-world to your inventory).It includes:

2 Champion (Human Male Sorcerer)
Game HUD (Dice, Quests, Score Keeper)
Gem Wallet HUD (Inventory, Avatar Points)
Camp Tent (You can heal your Champion quickly here)

STEP 3: READY YOUR CHAMPIONRez out your Champion or Add him and he will pop up in your HUD area.

Then:Attach your Game HUD
Attach your Gem Wallet HUD
Pair your Champion to your Game HUD

Supplies & Currency
You can purchase food and scrolls directly from your Gem Wallet HUD.

Scrolls
Required to go on Battles or Quests
You use one scroll per quest
Scrolls will also randomly drop during adventures
Food
Gives a small HP boost during adventures

PotionsRefills
HP faster and more fully

Rift Gems

Used for special battlesUsed to buy very special potions
More uses coming later in the game

Rift Energy100 Rift Energy = 1 Rift Gem
Earned during adventures

Drops appear as pictures on your HUD when you win
Not all items give the same amount of Rift Energy
Your HUD keeps track of all food, potions, and items you win or purchase.

All purchases can be made directly from the HUD.

When the game officially launches, mesh items for food and scrolls will be available for the secondary market.

STEP 4: CLICK START TO BEGIN YOUR ADVENTURE

When starting a battle, you must choose:
Attack
Defend

Choosing attack or defend gives you a chance at a small bonus against your enemy.
Your choice can affect the outcome of the battle — so choose wisely.

STEP 5: ROLL THE DICE

This begins the battle.You continue rolling your dice against your enemy until either they — or you — collapse into a pile of goo.
(Hopefully it’s them. If not… welp… goo happens.)

STEP 6: CARE FOR YOUR CHAMPION

After the fight, decide whether to:
Feed
Use a Potion
Or unpair and rest to regain strength for freeThen dive back in and do it all over again.
